The Jellyfish
This is the place where I create things that take time -time that demands patience, presence, and persistence.
The Jellyfish began years ago, quietly surfacing in my imagination and never letting go. Each one represents a person who’s deeply impacted my life, moving through a period of transformation for both of us. Like jellyfish, they adapt and move with the current of change.
To bring them to life as I imagined, I had to master silversmithing, a dying art form. It’s important to me to keep this craft alive, to preserve its essence in an age of mass production. There was no shortcut. The process was demanding, but essential. I couldn’t compromise on the vision; I had to shape them with my own hands.
Over time, they will always be a part of my practice. Each new piece is born when I’m ready to channel the memory, feeling, and lesson learned with the relationship that has most recently shaped me.
